Rosberg dominates practice again

Nico Rosberg made it a clean sweep in practice ahead of tomorrow's Australian Grand Prix.

The Williams driver finished on top of the standings at the end of yesterday's two 90-minute sessions, and he again led the way at the conclusion of the final hour at Melbourne's Albert Park.

Rosberg posted the fastest time of the weekend in the process with a lap of one minute 25.808 seconds, edging out Jarno Trulli in his Toyota by just three thousandths of a second.

As yesterday the 'diffuser three' dominated, with Jenson Button in his Brawn GP, complete with the Virgin logo following an agreement with Sir Richard Branson on a sponsorship deal, claiming third.

Last year's championship runner-up in Felipe Massa offered Ferrari hope as finished fourth, just 0.212secs down on Rosberg.

Kazuki Nakajima and Rubens Barrichello were fifth and sixth for Williams and Brawn GP, with Mark Webber again delighting his home crowd with seventh in his Red Bull

Webber yesterday remarked he could not replicate the lap that split the six drivers racing for Williams, Brawn and Toyota who are using a diffuser that this week came under protest from Ferrari, Renault and his own team, and is now subject to an appeal.

But the Australian clocked a time of 1:26.355 that was marginally quicker than yesterday, finishing just over half a second down on Rosberg.

Toyota's Timo Glock finished eighth after completing the most laps in 25, followed by the BMW Sauber duo of Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld as the team finally showed some form.

There was also some encouragement for McLaren as Heikki Kovalainen and reigning champion Lewis Hamilton managed to set times a second faster than anything they managed during a dismal day yesterday.
