Robson given until end of January to turn Sheffield United around

Bryan Robson has been given until the end of January to turn around Sheffield United's season and save his job.

The under-fire manager has to build on the goalless draw at Wolves on Tuesday by mounting a belated challenge for a top-six place.

It leaves Robson under pressure to register home wins over QPR and leaders Watford either side of a potentially fateful Sheffield derby at Hillsborough.

Robson, who has been told he cannot spend unless he sells first, faces Bolton in the FA Cup on Saturday.
