Redknapp keen on Kanoute

Harry Redknapp is chasing £7m-rated striker Fredi Kanoute and will watch him play for Sevilla in the Spanish Cup Final in Madrid today.

Kanoute, 29, finished the season as La Liga's second highest scorer with 21 goals, behind Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

Sportsmail revealed last week that the Portsmouth manager watched his former West Ham player against Real Mallorca.
