Rafael Nadal thinks that Andy Murray can be hot on French clay

Andy Murray has been backed to shine at the French Open by Rafael Nadal, the man who dominates the clay court Grand Slam.

The world No1 beat Murray in the Monte Carlo Masters semi-finals and saw off Serbia's Novak Djokovic 6-3, 26, 6-1 in the final.

Murray's display in Monte Carlo was by far his best on clay and Nadal said: "If you're a good player, you're a good player on any surface, no? Everybody talked about my game not being suited to grass, and I have been in three finals. Andy's an amazing player."
