QPR boost for Brown

Aaron Brown, the former Bristol City midfielder, is hoping to prove his fitness and get at a contract at Queens Park Rangers.

The 24-year-old, who has been at Loftus Road on a non-contract basis since the start of the season recovering from a broken leg sustained last March, played 45 minutes of a reserve game on Tuesday.

Brown said: "Although I haven't signed I feel part of the squad. I get on with the boys and I'm glad to be here. As soon as they consider me fit enough I hope to sign a contract."
