Hull KR centre Ben Cockayne and Hull FC second rower Danny Tickle have both been banned for their part in the brawl that erupted in last week's Hull derby.

They were among four players summoned to appear before the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee after fighting broke out during Hull's stormy 20-16 victory at the KC Stadium.

Cockayne, who was sin-binned at the time, was handed a two-match ban and a £300 fine while Tickle was suspended for one match and fined £300.

Forwards Liam Watts (Hull KR) and Sam Moa (Hull) were also found guilty of fighting but avoided suspensions. Watts was fined £500 and Moa was ordered to pay £300.

Hull full-back Jordan Tansey and Hull KR second rower Jason Netherton were on Monday issued with cautions for their part in the melee.

Tickle will miss Hull's clash with Engage Super League leaders Wigan on Friday, while Cockayne will sit out Saturday's home game against Bradford and Rovers' trip to Castleford a week later.
