Wembley Stadium will host three regular season NFL games in 2014 with the Oakland Raiders and Atlanta Falcons joining the Jacksonville Jaguars as the ‘home’ teams.

The Minnesota Vikings beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 34-27 in London last month watched by a crowd of 83,518 and the Jaguars meet the San Francisco 49ers in the second game at Wembley this year on October 27.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced the addition of an extra game next season in response to growing interest in the UK. The dates and opponents for each club will be announced later this season.

“Our fans in the UK have continued to demonstrate that they love [American] football and want more,” Goodell said. “Both of this year’s games in London sold out quickly. ”

So far, the seven-year International Series of regular-season games has helped create a UK American football fanbase of 12 million.
