Tom Brady produced a stunning shot Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson would have envied to silence social media critics during The Match.

Brady, partnered up with Mickelson and taking on Peyton Manning and Woods in the Champions for Charity match in Florida, was enduring a difficult start to his afternoon in the event to raise funds for Covid-19 relief in the United States.

The quarter-back’s struggles from the tee didn’t go unnoticed with Brooks Koepka at one point offering to donate $100k for merely getting a single par finish on the front nine.

NBA legend Charles Barkley, on punditry duty, had also been verbally jostling with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star - offering to donate $50k to Brady’s charity if he could get his tee shot on the green on the third hole. On that occasion, he didn’t come close.

But Brady made up for that when he produced the shot of the day - and of his life - on the seventh hole to birdie from 100 yards away.

After basking in the adulation however, Brady later confirmed he had split his trousers, seemingly doing the damage after stooping to retrieve his ball from the hole.
