London to stage 2015 hockey events

London's Olympic Park will stage the 2015 EuroHockey Championships after England was chosen as hosts for the men’s and women’s tournaments.

They are the first major events to be confirmed for the Park following this year’s Games. Matches will be played at the Olympic Park in August 2015. England Hockey Board chairman Philip Kimberley said: “This demonstrates our commitment to creating a lasting legacy.”
