O'Neal rules the court for Indiana after court ruling

14 April 2012

Jermaine O'Neal scored 31 points to steer the Indiana Pacers to a 96-83 win away to the New Jersey Nets in the NBA.

O'Neal's scoring spree came only hours after a judge ruled he did not have to serve the final 10 games of a suspension. He originally received a 25-game suspension for his part in a wild melee during a game on 19 November that led to multiple suspensions.

An arbitrator reduced it to 15 games last week and a judge upheld that decision three hours before last night's game.

O'Neal scored nine points in the fourth quarter to help the Pacers win their third game in a row.
