No way out for Nugent as Redknapp battens down Pompey hatches for African Nations Cup

David Nugent is unlikely to cut short his unhappy spell at Portsmouth with manager Harry Redknapp putting the block on any move to cope with the demands of the African Nations Cup.

Redknapp has been reluctant to give Nugent (left) a run in the side since the striker's £6million move from Preston.
