Nemeth's men are outclassed

England were swept aside 99-63 by Italy in a European Championship qualifier in Roseto degli Abruzzi.

Laszlo Nemeth's men were no match for the 1999 European Champions and their next qualifier is against Slovenia in Coventry on Saturday.

Meanwhile, 27 points from Terrell Myers helped the London Towers beat Milton Keynes Lions 92-83 last night.

The Towers are now just two points behind leaders Thames Valley Tigers in the BBL Championship Southern Conference.
