Mr Rugby ready to up his bid for Wolves
Sale Sharks owner Brian Kennedy is the mystery man trying to buy Wolves with Graeme Souness. The Scottish multi-millionaire is ready to improve his £20million bid after more talks with Souness this week.
The pair are former school friends and do not intend to walk away from their plan to buy the Molineux club from Sir Jack Hayward.

Kennedy's large portfolio of companies rack up over £450m a year and he has already shown his sporting credentials by turning Sale into one of rugby's top clubs.
The Manchester-based outfit won the Guinness Premiership last term after Kennedy funded a move to Stockport County's Edgeley Park ground and brought in top talent from across the world.
Kennedy was also the owner of County for a short while before handing the club over to supporters when his £4m investment failed to produce dividends. Now he wants another crack at owning a football club and believes Wolves are the only side worth looking at.
Their massive fan base make the club an attractive proposition at the £20m Hayward was initially asking for. Kennedy and Souness have been frustrated by Hayward's refusal to conclude a deal for the advertised price, but are now lining up an improved offer.
Any deal will secure Mick McCarthy's future as manager at Molinuex with Souness not keen to take on managerial duties, preferring a boardroom role alongside Kennedy.
