More glory for Standard duo

The Castrol/Evening Standard team has achieved a third podium finish in three outings after taking second in class on the Cambrian Rally in north Wales.

It was the biggest test yet for the Ford Fiesta ST150 crewed by Sky Sports presenter Tony Jardine and Evening Standard sports writer David Smith. But a spin proved costly, as they finished just eight seconds adrift of a third successive class win.

Smith has now qualified for his international co-driver licence, which means he can partner Jardine on next month's Wales Rally GB.
