Millwall's Euro bid boosted

Millwall are set to avoid Europe's top clubs in the first round of the UEFA Cup when the draw is made in Monaco today.

The Championship side will be ranked reasonably highly because they qualified through their place in last season's FA Cup Final and did not have to take part in preliminary rounds of the competition.

That means they could be among the top-40 seeded clubs for their historic first entry into Europe.

Millwall play Reading at The Den tomorrow with no new injury worries, but Kevin Muscat (knee) and Paul Ifill (Achilles) are still out.
