Mancienne returns to Wolves

12 April 2012

Wolves have re-signed Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne on a season-long loan.

The Chelsea defender is Wolves' seventh capture of the summer, and chief executive Jez Moxey insists the club are still looking to add more new faces.

Moxey said: "It's been a long, hard summer in terms of preparing for the Premier League and bringing in new players, and we're still looking for more even now."

Chelsea have yet to confirm Mancienne's move back to Wolves but it will be his second spell at Molineux. He spent two months with the club in the Championship last season.

During that 10-game spell, the youngster made a huge impression at centre-back, even earning a call-up to Fabio Capello's full England squad in November.
