Mail online's exclusive World Cup podcasts

Lasting six weeks and featuring a whopping 51 games the 2007 World Cup in the West Indies is set to be a festival of cricket.

Throughout the tournament the Mail online will feature exclusive podcasts featuring a number of Sport Asylum legends including England captains Graham Gooch, Nasser Hussain and Alec Stewart.

Set to the background of the Caribbean Rod Gilmour will be chatting to greats of the game as well as giving an insight into the culture of the islands and capturing the excitement of cricket's biggest tournament.

For the first podcast Rod Gilmour was joined by Alec Stewart, Sir Garfield Sobers, Robin Smith and others.

The new podcast, the second in the series, featuring Nasser Hussain, Graham Gooch and more is now available.

In the third Rod looked at England's defeat to New Zealand with Graham Gooch and talks to amongst others Aravinda da Silva about the importance of the World Cup to Asian nations.

In the fourth there's a look at St Lucia, and talks about the England team's drinking spree, the death of Bob Woolmer and more with Alec Stewart. He also talks with some of the fans about their views.

In the fifth Nasser Hussain looks back at the tournament, former Indian wicketkeeper Faroukh Engineer talks about his country's chances and David Gower reminisces about facing the great West Indies teams of the past.

Number six sees Rod Gilmour chats exclusively to Andrew Strauss as well as speaking to Sportsmail's Mike Dickson and Graham Gooch looks back at the career of legendary West Indian Gary Sobers.

In the next podcast Rod Gilmour moves to Barbados and chats exclusively to Nadine George, West Indies player and St Lucia coastguard, the second half of the Andrew Strauss interview, coming to terms with the local rum and Daily Mail Cricket Correspondent Mike Dickson looks ahead to the Super Eight stage - plus a slice of life in St Lucia.

In the latest show Rod talks to David Gower about West Indies's failures and England's complacencies as well as speaking to the top music producer in Barbados about the history of Bajan music, and the party atmosphere at Caribbean cricket matches.
