Look out Bolton, Forlan is scoring goals by the double for Atletico

Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan was quick to turn his focus to Thursday's UEFA Cup first leg with Bolton after scoring twice in La Liga on Sunday to end his team's recent poor form.

Former Manchester United forward Forlan collected a brace in the 2-0 win at Racing Santander before looking ahead to the last-32 tie at the Reebok Stadium.

"The most important thing is that we obtained the three points," he said.

"We must now rest and try to be in the optimum condition for the game against Bolton."

Atletico picked up their first victory in four league matches after becoming only the second team to win at sixth-placed Racing's El Sardinero stadium this season, but Forlan's team-mate Cleber Santana insists there is no time for self-congratulation.

"It was a very important victory for us, but the game has finished and now we need to focus on Bolton, our next engagement," said the Brazilian.
