European champions Liverpool have extended their deal with shirt sponsors Carlsberg by two years.

The brewers today revealed the new agreement which was finalised before the Reds' Champions League final triumph against AC Milan last Wednesday.

The new deal will run until the end of the 2006-07 season.

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry: "The partnership has been enormously successful over the last 13 years and we're delighted we've been able to extend it into what we hope will be a new era for the club.

"We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with Carlsberg and look forward to continuing that in the future."
