Lee joins Leigh

12 April 2012

Leigh Centurions have secured their fourth close-season signing from crisis-torn Widnes, with Ireland international Lee Doran agreeing a one-season deal.

The 25-year-old second-row forward, who won his fifth cap for Ireland in Saturday's 58-18 World Cup qualifying win over Russia, previously played for Oldham and Rochdale and joins his former Widnes team-mates Denis Moran, Toa Kohe-Love and Gareth Price at Hilton Park.

"Lee is a great athlete," said Leigh football manager Darren Shaw. "He's got good presence about him and good size. Everything about him is professional."
