London ambition: Laura Robson wants to play at the 2012 Olympics
13 April 2012

Laura Robson has targeted representing Britain at the 2012 Olympics in London.

A year after winning the girls' title at Wimbledon, Robson returned in June for her senior grand slam debut and was beaten in three sets by former world No5 Daniela Hantuchova.

The Londoner, who will turn 16 in January, now has her sights on going for Olympic gold at SW19.

"Being able to play at the 2012 tournament at Wimbledon is my goal," she said. "It would be amazing to be part of the Games."
