Larsson to reign in Spain

14 April 2012

Barcelona star Javier Saviola has tipped Henrik Larsson to become a big hit at the Nou Camp if he joins them in the summer.

The Spanish club, in Glasgow for tonight's UEFA Cup clash, are interested in signing the striker this summer and Saviola believes he would score plenty of goals in Spain.

Saviola said: "He has scored so many goals and he is a striker with a great reputation. I am sure he would do well here."

Barcelona will be without Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Patrick Kluivert with knee injuries while Edgar Davids is cuptied and Luis Enrique suspended.

Those problems are nothing like what O'Neill is facing, with Chris Sutton joining John Hartson, Johan Mjallby, Liam Miller, Ulrik Laursen and Shaun Maloney on the injury list.
