Ledley King: On the way back

Tottenham defender Ledley King last night took another step towards his Premiership return. King, who has been troubled by a hip injury since the summer, played the 90 minutes as the reserves beat Leicester 3-1 at White Hart Lane.

Sergei Rebrov also played, after manager Glenn Hoddle denied the Ukrainian striker was on the transfer list. Two goals from Stephen Clemence and one from from Steffen Iversen helped Spurs to the win.

Spurs' 18-year-old Belgian midfielder Jonathan Blondel is being lined up for a loan move to First Division club Bradford.
