Kepa may be England-bound

12 April 2012

West Ham and Manchester City are battling to secure the services of Sevilla striker Kepa Blanco on loan until the end of the season, according to the player's agent.

The 22-year-old has been a target of other Premiership clubs, including Charlton Athletic and Everton in the winter transfer window.

"Sevilla is evaluating two offers from West Ham and Manchester City for Kepa," the player's agent Alvaro Torres said. "Both offers are six-month loan deals. The club should make a decision soon."

Kepa is keen to leave the Primera Liga leaders after struggling to hold down a regular first-team place this term. He has scored three goals in nine league appearances this season.
