Kenny Jackett has committed his future to Millwall by signing a new three-year contract

The Lions manager's reputation flourished last season after he led the club to the League One play-off final, just 12 months after helping them avoid relegation.

Millwall were beaten 3-2 by Scunthorpe at Wembley but the club's chairman John Berylson has acted swiftly to secure Jackett on a longer deal. Berylson said: "The progress we have made under Kenny is tremendous and it was important for us to have him under contract for three more years."

Jackett added: "This club has tremendous potential."
