Kenny Jackett faces striker crisis after injury

13 April 2012

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett fears his side's promotion push will be derailed by an injury crisis to his strikers.

Gary Alexander was taken to hospital last night after suffering a facial injury in the 1-0 home defeat to Colchester.

Jackett is also without Neil Harris, who suffered concussion and a broken nose against Crewe last week.

"It leaves us a bit light up front for Walsall on Saturday," he said.

Barnet eased any lingering relegation fears with a 1-1 draw away at promotion hopefuls Wycombe.

Paul Furlong struck just before the break to cancel out John Akinde's opener.
