Keller nurses bruised knee

Tottenham goalkeeper Kasey Keller suffered a World Cup fitness scare in a 5-0 win for the United States against Jamaica at Giants Stadium.

Keller, right, was forced to leave the pitch with a bruised knee 10 minutes into the second half. The Americans also lost striker Clint Mathis with a slight toe injury. Keller said: "If it was a World Cup game I wouldn't have come out. I'm not worried."

Japanese World Cup star Hidetoshi Nakata, meanwhile, has been offered to Chelsea, but manager Claudio Ranieri is concerned about his international commitments. Nakata's club Parma want a straight swap for Emmanuel Petit.

Jean Tigana has responded to Fulham's dismal end to the season by signing Argentine forward Facundo Sava for £2 million.

Arsenal forward Francis Jeffers will have an operation on his troubled ankle after playing just two games last season.
