Keegan frustrated by Poles

13 April 2012

Kevin Keegan could not hide his frustration after his Manchester City side were held to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their second-round UEFA Cup tie at home to Polish side Groclin.

Nicolas Anelka scored for City after just six minutes but Claudio Reyna, Robbie Fowler and substitute Paulo Wanchope all squandered good chances before Sebastian Mila grabbed a superb equaliser for the Poles.

Keegan said: "We started well then missed some good chances. If you are a Manchester City fan you will be disappointed, but so am I and so are the players. In the second half we couldn't get a head of steam up."

Reyna may miss Sunday's match with Leicester with a thigh injury.
