Kamara's a headache for Hodgson

Roy Hodgson faces a huge selection dilemma when Fulham's Premier League future goes on the line at home to Birmingham on Saturday.

Fulham kept their survival hopes alive by fighting back to win 3-2 at Manchester City, where substitutes Erik Nevland, who won a penalty, and two-goal Diomansy Kamara made a massive impact.

The pair replaced the hard-working but ineffective David Healy and Brian McBride and, given their combined output over a short burst, Nevland and, in particular, Kamara will hope to start in a game where defeat will almost certainly send Fulham down.

Boss Hodgson said: "I guess Kamara will expect to play but last week we lost 2-0 to Liverpool but didn't play that badly. The previous week we had a very good result at Reading so I didn't see the need to make drastic changes.

"But after what has happened in the last 20-25 minutes at City then the two of them will be expecting that I will start with them against Birmingham. What I will do is give that plenty of thought.

"I don't have to give an answer to that question today."

Kamara, a £6million signing from West Brom last summer, said: "I hope my goals can help Fulham stay up."
