Jol reverts to 'Crazy Gang' methods - will Tottenham fans stand for it?
The special relationship Tottenham boss Martin Jol enjoys with the White Hart Lane faithful could be tested to breaking point by a change of style.
Under pressure to get results, Jol quipped that he is following the lead of Wimbledon's Crazy Gang who took the top flight by storm for ten years from the mid-1980s.

Spurs have always prided themselves on playing a certain brand of football and the prospect of route one stuff will fill Tottenham fans with dread.
But Jol instructed his players to start hitting long balls during Sunday's 2-2 draw at Liverpool and he may decide to sacrifice style for substance in a bid to hoist the Londoners away from the Premier League drop zone.
And Jol revealed: "It was mentioned to me that our goals against Liverpool were out of the old Wimbledon manual and I have to admit it is something I literally called for at half time.
"The important thing at the time was for us to win battles and get behind their back four so I said: 'Let's use the Wimbledon style occasionally.'"
