Jacobson is kept waiting

Fredrik Jacobson held a two-stroke lead going into today's second round of the Volvo Masters in Spain, after his 64.

However, heavy rain on an already sodden Valderrama course forced play to be suspended for more than four hours.

Only two others broke 70 yesterday - Denmark's Anders Hansen (66) and Spaniard Carlos Rodiles (68).

Colin Montgomerie, joint winner last year, hit a one-under par 71 in his opening round, to lie equal sixth. However, he was keeping his fingers crossed that the back trouble he suffered yesterday would not return.
