Houghton: We will win play-offs

13 April 2012

Orient midfielder Scott Houghton believes his side have come into form at the right time and is confident they will win promotion to Division Two via the play-offs.

Houghton's team are unbeaten in their last eight games, which have included victories over high-flying Chesterfield, Black-pool and Hartlepool.

The run may have come too late to seal an automatic promotion place, but Houghton insists they will take great confidence into the play-offs next month.

He said: "There was a lot of talk earlier in the season that we hadn't beaten the better sides, but we have done now. There is a belief in the camp that wasn't there a few weeks ago and we're going to take some stopping.

"Another six games undefeated and we will be in Division Two next season."

Manager Tommy Taylor names an unchanged squad for tomorrow's trip to Mansfield.
