Hopkin poised to return to Palace

David Hopkin will today rejoin Crystal Palace from Bradford.

The £1.5 million deal will see the Premiership side lose £1m on the midfielder they signed from Leeds eight months ago.

Hopkin, 30, hit a last-gasp winner as Palace beat Sheffield United in the 1997 Division One play-off final. He then joined Leeds for £3.25m that summer.
