Hoddle apology for medal snub

Glenn Hoddle last night apologised for snubbing the medal ceremony at the Worthington Cup Final, and insisted he was not sulking.

The Spurs manager said: "No one told me that I would get a medal and so I wasn't aware. I would have been honoured to receive one and will still accept it with pleasure."
