Hiddink denies Blues link

Guus Hiddink has claimed he would not be interested in becoming Chelsea manager at the end of the season.

There has been fevered speculation in recent months that current Blues boss Jose Mourinho might quit Stamford Bridge this summer and Dutchman Hiddink has emerged as a front-runner for the position should it become available - due to his impeccable track record with the likes of PSV Eindhoven and Holland, and his links to club owner Roman Abramovich.

But the 60-year-old, who is currently being investigated in his homeland for alleged tax evasion, told The Mail on Sunday: "I have definitely not spoken to Roman Abramovich about moving to Chelsea this summer. I am coach of the Russian national team and will continue in that job until the summer of 2008."

He added: "I am satisfied with my current job and very busy at the moment. I have other things to concentrate on.

"How do you think it would go down if I were to leave this job after a year and join Chelsea?"
