Henin destroyed by Venus

Venus Williams powered her way to a third successive Wimbledon final today as she brushed aside Justine Henin.

Two-time champion Williams, playing in front of a Centre Court crowd still buzzing after Tim Henman's quarter-final triumph, took the first set 6-3 and won 6-2 in the second.

Henin, the 5ft 6in Belgian giving away seven inches in height and 32lb in bulk to Williams, broke a nervous-looking Williams in the first game but Williams fought back with a barrage of power shots.
