Hargreaves hope

14 April 2012

Owen Hargreaves today admitted that it would be a disaster for his club Bayern Munich if they fail to get at least a draw against Celtic in the Champions League tonight.

The England midfielder and his German team-mates are third in Group A with only five points and with their hopes of qualifying for the knock-out stages hanging by a thread.

Hargreaves admitted the Celtic Park game is make or break time for the German champions. He said: "We have two games left and if we don't win - or get a draw against Celtic - then we are out and it will be a disaster for us. It's up to us to get ourselves out of this hole. But the potential is there and we are very capable of winning."

  • Celtic v B Munich, tonight, 7.45pm (live on ITV2)
