Hammers could make move for Foxes star Mattock

West Ham manager Alan Curbishley set to step up their interest in Leicester’s highly-rated defender Joe Mattock.


The Foxes could be tempted to cash in on the £2m-rated player who has been watched by a number of other Premier League scouts.

Meanwhile Anton Ferdinand has turned down a move to Newcastle. It is understood the West Ham defender was reluctant to move to the North East.

The Hammers are still willing to sell Ferdinand for £6million and Aston Villa are said to be interested.
