Haka row is making us look weak, says Zinzan Brooke

Zinzan Brooke, the former All Blacks great, today slated New Zealand centre Ma'a Nonu for his "weak" reaction over the Wales team's attitude to the Haka last weekend.

Brooke said: "If Nonu says he was upset by it, he needs to pull his head in. If that is what he thinks, he is weak. He has exposed himself as fragile. By saying it upset him he has told everyone else that he's affected when someone responds to the Haka."

Brooke also predicted a tough afternoon for England centre Riki Flutey, who has played for New Zealand Maori.

"He is a good player but he's a New Zealander," said Brooke. "He needs to have some answers because the All Blacks will want to kick him to pieces."

England have no special plans to stare out the All Blacks. "The Haka is a passionate part of the game but our only focus is starting well," said manager Martin Johnson today. "They like to feed off it because it gives them energy but the whistle goes after it is performed, not before.

"We are heavy underdogs and there is a reason for that. This is a tall order and last weekend's defeat did hurt."
