Gunners loan out Danilevicius

Arsenal striker Tomas Danilevicius, who was accused of having a false passport last season, is set to join FC Beveren on loan.

The 21-year-old, Moscow-born Lithuanian striker, who has made only three appearances since joining Arsenal from Swiss club Lausanne for £1m in December, has joined the Belgian club in a one-year deal.

Arsenal kick off their pre-season friendly campaign at Boreham Wood tonight with manager Arsene Wenger expected to blend youth and experience in his team.

Tony Adams, Francis Jeffers, their new striker from Everton, and Lee Dixon are expected to feature having trained all week.

Goalkeeper Richard Wright, their £6m signing from Ipswich, could also make his debut.
