Greene returns to Athens

Olympic champion Maurice Greene will return to the scene of his 100 metres world record when he opens his European season in Athens on 11 June.

Greene and training partners Ato Boldon, of Trinidad, and Bernard Williams will race over 100m in the Olympic stadium where Greene set the world best time of 9.79secs in 1999.

He had a winning time of 9.96secs in Osaka on 12 May.
