Geraghty offered better Irish deal

London Irish have upped their contract offer to Shane Geraghty in a bid to stop the England back being lured to France.

Irish have never been one of the league's big spending clubs but are trying to accommodate Geraghty's demands within the new £4million squad salary cap.

Toby Booth, the club's director of rugby, said: "Shane has said he wants to stay on revised terms and we have to work out if that is viable for us."
