Frentzen quits ailing Arrows

13 April 2012

Heinz-Harald Frentzen has quit Arrows due to the cash-strapped Formula One team's uncertain future.

With talks continuing over the future ownership of the Leafield-based team, the German has asked to be released from his contract.

He added: "The team definitely has potential so I hope they can sort their problems out and realise their goals. I wish every one of them all the best for the future."

Frentzen's replacement will be named before the Hungarian Grand Prix on 18 August.
