Francis points out the facts

13 April 2012

Manager Trevor Francis has called on his Crystal Palace side to win five of their last six matches to make the play-offs.

The Eagles went down 1-0 against Manchester City at Maine Road on Saturday, and are desperate to get back on track against Walsall this weekend.

Palace have lost three of their last four matches and are now six points from a playoff place having played a game more than most of their rivals.

But under-fire Francis refuses to give up on taking the club into the Premiership, and has demanded a positive response from his players.

He said: "We still have a mathematical chance of making the play-offs but we need to win five of our remaining six matches and that is a tall order."
