Francis hands lifeline to Leon

13 April 2012

Leon Jeanne, Queens Park Rangers' troubled striker, has been given a chance to resurrect his career after going AWOL at the start of the season.

Jeanne went missing for a month, just weeks after being charged for drink driving and threatening behaviour towards police officers in Wales.

"He is unfit and will have to do extra training. After that we'll see how it goes.

"The club has bent over backwards for him."
