France call up Gallas but there's no joy for Clichy

Arsenal's William Gallas has been called up to France's Euro 2008 squad but there is no place for club-mate Gael Clichy.

Manchester United's Patrice Evra, Portsmouth's Lassana Diarra, plus Chelsea pair Claude Makelele and Nicolas Anelka were included, while Bolton and Newcastle target Bafetimbi Gomis made it at the expense of Juventus striker David Trezeguet.
