Zlatan Ibrahimovic forgets Tottenham in Premier League top six predictions

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not expecting much from Tottenham this season.

The striker has returned to the Premier League, rejoining Manchester United on a one-year deal, and sized up his main competition for the campaign as he prepares to return from knee ligament damage before 2018.

Despite finishing a record high of second in the Premier League last season, Tottenham were not included in the Swede's top-six picks for the current campaign, with Everton coming in.

It could well just be a case of Ibrahimovic being forgetful, though, as Zlatan says he expects the same top six as last season despite United, naturally, finishing as champions. Who else?

"In the Premier League there are many [rivals], which are the top six let’s say, they will give a hard time for everybody," Ibrahimovic told ESPN.

"Like last season Chelsea was the best team, they won. You’ll still have Chelsea, you have Liverpool, I think Everton are not to underestimated because they have a great coach and they are investing a lot to win.

"And obviously you have Arsenal, [Manchester] City. So I think it will look like last year but this year the Red Devils will be on top."
