'You can't claim to be The Crazy Gang anymore' - Jimmy Bullard kicks off at AFC Wimbledon

Jimmy Bullard has hit back at AFC Wimbledon after a Twitter row with some of the League Two club's fanbase.

Members of the SW19 faithful rejected the chance to appear on London Live's 'Jimmy Bullard Kicks Off' last week due to the ex-midfielder's brief spell with MK Dons.

But the south Londoners' stance got Bullard's goat on social media and he aimed another outburst at Neal Ardley's side on Friday night.

"Seeing as there's a few other wallies down at Wimbledon other than 'Downesy' you mob have got to stop living in the past," the 37-year-old fumed.

"The Wimbledon of old - The Crazy Gang - they were unique, special and unheard of. The Wimbledon of today? They're not in the same bracket boys, let me tell you.

"Nor are MK Dons so don't think either club can claim to be The Crazy Gang anymore.

"So how about you get off my back, try and focus on staying in the league and realise it's my show which means I can have my say!

"What I'm going to do is call you Twitter keyboard warriors out. The Away End is over there so if you want to come on [the show], come on and go toe-to-toe with the Bulldog!"
