Wolves have been crowned winners of the Championship after beating Bolton,

Wanderers saw promotion to the Premier League confirmed last weekend after Fulham failed to beat Brentford and will now go up as champions.

Barry Douglas tucked home after just 16 minutes, pouncing on the rebound after Benik Afobe's deflected shot. Afobe then did finish, rounding the keeper in first-half stoppage time.

Diogo Jota then got in on the act, firing home his fifth goal in seven games. Conor Coady added a fourth from the penalty spot.

Nuno Espirito Santos's side have led the Championship since November 18 and remain on course to record over 100 points this season, though will fall short of Reading's record of 106 set in 2005-06.

Wolves have spent six seasons away from the Premier League, even dropping down to League One.

Last summer they signed Ruben Neves from Porto in a deal worth a reported league-record £15.8million, with the club holding close ties with the player's agent Jorge Mendes.
