Tottenham have confirmed that Saturday's game against Huddersfield at Wembley will go ahead as scheduled.

Spurs will host the Terriers at the national stadium at 3pm as planned despite adverse weather conditions hitting the capital in recent days.

The ‘Beast from the East’ and Storm Emma caused havoc ahead of the weekend, while the army were drafted in to help drivers stranded on motorways as the Met Office issued a red weather warning for south-west England and Wales on Friday.

But staff have been working tirelessly to make the area surrounding the Wembley Stadium safe for supporters and the game has been given the green light.
